Written entirely by guitarist and founding member Constantine Chevardin, "Ascension Of The Ineffable" represents the band's most savage and refined work to date. Faster, rawer, and more punishing than its predecessors, the album pushes Traumatomy's trademark blend of primitive slamming brutality into even more extreme territory while maintaining the memorable grooves and crushing breakdowns that have become hallmarks of their sound.
Inspired by the cosmic horror of H.P. Lovecraft and the bleak absurdity of crime television, the album continues the band's fascination with grotesque storytelling and otherworldly atmospheres. Formed in 2012 by Constantine Chevardin and former Gorevent vocalist Haruka Kamiyama, Traumatomy began as an online studio project before evolving into a full-fledged live act. With the additions of bassist Leonid (Cephalic Impurity) and drummer Ivan in 2018, the band transformed into a touring force renowned for their coordinated stage performance, professionalism, and crushing live presence.
