NEVER OBEY AGAIN Turn “Animal By Choice” Into A Live Assault At Vienna Core Fest 2026

Italian modern metal force NEVER OBEY AGAIN brought “Animal By Choice” to the stage at Vienna Core Fest 2026, delivering a powerful live performance led by the unmistakable presence of vocalist Carolina Bertelegni. With its combination of heavy guitar work, driving rhythms, electronic touches and intense vocal dynamics, the song translates naturally into the live environment, giving the Italian band plenty of room to showcase the energy that defines their performances.

At the center of the performance is Bertelegni, whose commanding stage presence provides the focal point for NEVER OBEY AGAIN’s attack. Her ability to move between clean melodic passages and more aggressive vocals gives “Animal By Choice” a dynamic character, while the rest of the band maintains a tight and forceful instrumental foundation. The result is a performance that feels immediate and physical, with every transition carrying the weight of modern metal.

“Animal By Choice” also highlights the contrast that has become an important part of NEVER OBEY AGAIN’s identity. Rather than relying solely on heaviness, the band build their songs around atmosphere, melody and rhythmic impact, creating a sound capable of shifting from introspective passages into explosive sections within moments. On stage at Vienna Core Fest, those contrasts become even more pronounced as the band turn the track into a full-force live experience.

Captured at Vienna Core Fest 2026, “Animal By Choice” offers a glimpse of NEVER OBEY AGAIN in their natural environment: loud, energetic and completely committed to the performance. With Carolina Bertelegni commanding the stage and the band pushing their modern metal sound to its limits, the Italian force continue to establish themselves as a live act built to leave an impression.
