GRASPOP METAL MEETING 2027 EVANESCENCE Confirmed As Second Friday Headliner

Graspop Metal Meeting has confirmed EVANESCENCE as the second headliner for Friday, June 18, 2027, adding another major name to the festival’s landmark 30th anniversary edition. Ten years after their first appearance on the Dessel plains, the American band led by vocalist Amy Lee will return to headline the South Stage, sharing Friday’s top billing with FAITH NO MORE on the North Stage. Their comeback marks a highly anticipated return to one of Europe’s premier metal festivals, bringing a catalogue of unforgettable songs and a new chapter in the band’s musical journey.

EVANESCENCE broke through internationally with their landmark album Fallen, combining crushing guitar riffs, haunting piano melodies and Amy Lee’s unmistakable vocals. Tracks such as “Bring Me to Life,” “My Immortal” and “Going Under” quickly became defining anthems of the alternative music scene. The band continued expanding their sound with subsequent releases, including The Open Door and The Bitter Truth, maintaining their signature balance of emotional intensity, powerful arrangements and memorable melodies.

Their return to Graspop follows a decade-long absence from the festival. Last September, EVANESCENCE delivered an impressive performance at Forest National, and their upcoming appearance will mark their second time performing at Graspop Metal Meeting. Their sixth studio album, Sanctuary, released earlier this year, will also bring fresh material into the setlist, alongside the classics that have become essential moments of their live shows. On Friday, June 18, Amy Lee and company will bring the South Stage proceedings to a powerful close.

Graspop Metal Meeting celebrates its 30th anniversary from June 17–20, 2027, in Dessel, Belgium. Four days, five stages and an international lineup promise another monumental gathering of heavy music. Tickets go on sale Saturday, November 14, at 10 a.m. via Ticketmaster, with a Mastercard presale running from November 12 at 10 a.m. until November 14 at 9 a.m. The anniversary edition is shaping up to be one for the history books. 30 Years Beyond Metal.
