ECHOCHAMBER Join Forces With LOVE IS NOISE On “dead to me” And Announce Debut Album

Bristol, UK-based outfit ECHOCHAMBER have released their new single “dead to me,” featuring LOVE IS NOISE, via Year Of The Rat Records. The release arrives alongside the announcement of the band’s debut album, also titled dead to me, set for November 20, 2026. Blending the raw emotion of 2000s emo with the hazy textures of nu-gaze and alternative rock, ECHOCHAMBER have developed a sound built around soaring vocals, nostalgic riffs, and immersive walls of sound. Following releases including “nothingchanges,” “fall apart,” and “netherworld,” the band continue to gain momentum within the UK alternative scene.

The new single explores loss, change, and the complicated process of moving forward. Featuring LOVE IS NOISE, “dead to me” expands ECHOCHAMBER’s emotionally charged sound through a collaboration that connects two names from the UK’s alternative underground. The track leaves room for listeners to find their own meaning in its central theme, whether that means leaving a damaging relationship behind or confronting a former version of themselves that no longer feels familiar.

“‘dead to me’ is about dealing with loss but it can mean many different things depending on how you relate to it,” explains Jamie Fitzpatrick. “Whether it’s planned or unplanned, wanted or not, it’s about change and growth.” Fitzpatrick also highlights the song’s open interpretation, explaining that no two listeners will necessarily experience it in the same way. That personal connection lies at the heart of the track, allowing its meaning to shift according to each listener’s own experiences.

The single follows recent shows with HACKTIVIST and EUROTRIPP, alongside coverage from LAMPGOAT, BBC, KERRANG! and METAL HAMMER. Now signed to Year Of The Rat Records, ECHOCHAMBER are preparing to take their next step with their debut album dead to me, arriving November 20, 2026. The new single offers a first taste of that next chapter, bringing together the band’s nostalgic influences, immersive sound, and reflections on the changes that shape who we become.
