BUTCHER BABIES Unleash “Black Clouds Over Georgia” From New Album NIGHTBLOOM

BUTCHER BABIES have released “Black Clouds Over Georgia,” the latest track from their freshly released album NIGHTBLOOM, accompanied by a new official lyric video. Released on October 2 through Judge & Jury Records, the ten-track album marks another chapter in the band’s evolution, pairing their trademark aggression and commanding vocals with a more focused, melodic and emotionally charged approach. “Black Clouds Over Georgia” lands as the sixth track on the record, bringing another heavy and atmospheric dimension to an album built around personal experiences and hard-earned transformation.

Produced by Howard Benson, with Joe Rickard, Neil Sanderson and Henry Flury contributing as co-producers, NIGHTBLOOM was shaped by a deeply personal period in vocalist Heidi Shepherd’s life. The writing process grew from confronting old wounds, difficult relationships, loss and the changes that come with moving forward, turning those experiences into a collection of songs centered on growth, survival and rebuilding. Rather than simply dwelling on darkness, the album explores what can emerge from it.

“Black Clouds Over Georgia” sits alongside previously released material including “Lost In Your Touch,” “Sincerity,” “Blame It On The Wind,” “Broken & Beautiful” and “Are You Waiting Up?,” while the full album expands the band’s sound across ten concise tracks. With massive instrumentation, powerful vocal performances and modern production, NIGHTBLOOM retains the force that has defined BUTCHER BABIES while allowing greater space for melody and atmosphere.

With NIGHTBLOOM now available worldwide, “Black Clouds Over Georgia” gives the album another striking visual and sonic entry point. The new lyric video adds another layer to the track while BUTCHER BABIES continue a new era built around honesty, resilience and an unapologetically heavy sound.
