WAGE WAR To Digitally Release New Album "Landfall" On October 9 Via Fearless Records - Band Shares Visualizer For Ferocious Title Track

Florida's WAGE WAR — Briton Bond [lead vocals], Cody Quistad [rhythm guitar, clean vocals], Seth Blake [lead guitar], Chris Gaylord [bass], and Stephen Kluesener [drums] — continue to absolutely dominate 2026. After releasing the "It Calls Me By Name" EP this past spring, the band is now pleased to announce the new album "Landfall", out digitally October 9 via Fearless Records. Pre-order it here.

The band has shared the visualizer for the vicious title track. Watch and listen below!

Opening with a foreboding emergency broadcast-style alarm before erupting in a bludgeoning riff, Wage War continue to indulge their heaviest side with "Landfall." It's a groove-heavy, guitar-forward anthem that sounds like... vengeance. The hellbound screams of Bond are punctuated by Quistad's melodic singing, making it a gloriously unpredictable listen. Wage War are at their heaviest and most melodic — EVER — with this track, as they continue to push their own boundaries. It's Wage War, but bigger, stronger, louder, and as impactful as ever.

"'Landfall' is a song about imminent danger and the realization that we aren't in control," Wage War offer. "Referencing our Florida roots, the hurricane imagery became a way of talking about that feeling of being completely at the mercy of something bigger than yourself. Musically, we wanted the verses to feel heavy and threatening, with the chorus being somber and inevitable."
