SYNLAKROSS Unveil A Haunting “Lullaby”

Spanish modern melodic death metal outfit SYNLAKROSS return with “Lullaby,” their latest single and accompanying music video. The new track adds another chapter to the Valencia-based band’s constantly evolving sound, where aggressive instrumentation, melodic passages and atmospheric elements come together to create a powerful and distinctive identity. Following their recent material, “Lullaby” continues SYNLAKROSS’ exploration of darker and more emotionally charged territory.

Rather than treating its title as something comforting, “Lullaby” carries an unsettling edge, allowing SYNLAKROSS to play with the contrast between beauty and heaviness. The band’s melodic approach gives the track a strong sense of atmosphere, while the heavier sections provide the intensity expected from a group rooted in modern melodic death metal.

The new release follows SYNLAKROSS’ recent single “The Mire Of The Forgotten,” which addressed the devastating floods that struck Valencia on October 29, 2024. That track was described as the band’s most extreme composition to date, combining heavy riffs, orchestral textures, aggressive vocals and cinematic atmospheres. It was produced, recorded and mixed by Facundo Novo, with Nate Tesar contributing spoken vocals.

With “Lullaby,” SYNLAKROSS continue pushing their music into darker and more atmospheric territory while retaining the aggression and melodic character that define their sound. The new single offers another glimpse into the creative direction of a Spanish band steadily carving out its own space within the modern metal landscape.
