New hardcore outfit STRENGTH have arrived with their first-ever music video, unveiling “Back In The Pit” as the opening statement from a band featuring members of CALIBAN and STAREDOWN. The track serves as the first preview of the group’s upcoming debut full-length SCHWARZES HERZ, which is scheduled for release on December 4, 2026 through Dead Serious Recordings. Spanning ten tracks and running for just over half an hour, the album is set to introduce STRENGTH with a direct, uncompromising approach to heavy music.
“Back In The Pit” delivers the kind of confrontational energy its title promises, built for movement, impact and the communal intensity of the hardcore scene. STRENGTH bring together experienced musicians from the German heavy-music underground while establishing a new identity of their own, with the debut single serving as the first indication of what SCHWARZES HERZ has in store.
The forthcoming album was produced and mixed by Marc Caliban at Nemesis Studio, with Andy Any Given Day responsible for mastering. The record also features an extensive guest-vocal lineup, with contributions from members of NASTY, RYKERS, CRUSHING CASPARS, EYES OF TOMORROW, TO THE WIRE, KERI and SKULLHAMMER. The confirmed tracklist includes “Back In The Pit,” “Rotten Branches,” “Like Sand,” “The Righteous Son,” “Succubus,” “Schwarzes Herz,” “Traitors,” “Get It Done,” “The Business” and “Home.”
With “Back In The Pit,” STRENGTH make their first move toward SCHWARZES HERZ, setting the tone for a debut built around heavyweight riffs, hardcore conviction and a formidable network of guest musicians. The album arrives December 4, and this is only the beginning.
