SINK Hold The Line With “Holding It Together”

Sydney, Australia’s SINK have returned with “Holding It Together,” a new track that brings together the urgency of melodic hardcore and the weight of modern metalcore. Released September 16, 2026, the 2:54 track features vocals from Josh Vanstone, drums from Liam Reynolds, and guitars from Kofi Badu, Christopher Jusuf and Varun Mahadevan, with Badu also credited as composer and producer.

“Holding It Together” captures the tension at the heart of its title, balancing melody and aggression within a compact arrangement that refuses to overstay its welcome. SINK lean into the emotional directness associated with hardcore while adding the heavier guitar presence and rhythmic impact that give the track its metalcore edge.

The new release also arrives with an official music video, marking another step forward for the Sydney outfit. Rather than relying on excess, SINK keep the focus firmly on the song itself, delivering a concise piece of heavy music built around forceful vocals, driving drums and layered guitar work. The track is currently listed through 10264431 Records DK2.

“Holding It Together” is a focused statement from SINK, combining the emotional weight of melodic hardcore with the crushing momentum of metalcore. At just under three minutes, the track gets in, hits hard and leaves its mark.
