Minneapolis, Minnesota-based modern metal outfit SIFYN have unveiled their new single “Sew Me Up,” accompanied by a new music video. The track is the second preview of the band’s forthcoming five-song EP Self-Encrypted, following the previously released “Code.” Scheduled for release on December 4, 2026, the EP represents the next chapter in SIFYN’s evolution, continuing to expand their sound through a combination of modern metal, alternative rock, emo influences, electronic textures and layered vocals.
“Sew Me Up” takes a deeply personal approach to the aftermath of a damaging relationship, focusing on broken trust, recognizing another person’s true intentions and the difficult process of rebuilding yourself. The song carries a sense of emotional vulnerability while retaining the muscular musical foundation that has become central to SIFYN’s identity. Rather than simply dwelling on betrayal, the track explores what can be learned from confronting uncomfortable truths.
SIFYN was founded by vocalist Lukas Magyar, formerly of Veil Of Maya, and currently features guitarists Mike Green and Dustin Korth, bassist and co-writer Derek Sampson, and drummer Avery Frisk. The band originally emerged with their 2022 debut Marionette, developing a sound that has continued to move between heavy modern instrumentation, alternative influences and more melodic territory.
Sew Me Up is also part of a five-track Self-Encrypted tracklist that includes “Code,” “Sovereign,” “Invoker” and “Lexicon.” With the new single, SIFYN continue to reveal a more personal side of their songwriting, turning damaged trust and difficult realizations into another powerful piece of their evolving musical identity.
