MEADOWS have unveiled “Spur,” the latest track from their upcoming album Desert Walker, arriving October 9, 2026 via Facedown Records. Featuring fellow Facedown labelmates CULTIST, the song adds another collaborative chapter to a record that brings together the band’s hard-hitting approach with a series of guest appearances. “Spur” is positioned as the fourth track on the eight-song album, following “Hard Bargain,” “Fighting The Sun” and “Tenfold (Point Of View).”
The collaboration with CULTIST gives “Spur” an additional layer of weight while keeping MEADOWS firmly at the center of the track. Rather than stretching the song beyond its purpose, the two acts meet in a focused burst of modern hardcore intensity, making the collaboration a natural fit within the broader framework of Desert Walker.
The upcoming album continues a relationship between MEADOWS and Facedown Records that has already produced several releases, including For A Good And Faithful Servant and the band’s earlier catalogue. Desert Walker will feature eight tracks in total, with other collaborations including “Hard Bargain” featuring Geert Van Der Velde of SHAI HULUD.
“Spur” now adds another heavy piece to the road toward Desert Walker. With CULTIST joining MEADOWS for the track, the upcoming album continues to take shape as a compact and collaborative statement from two forces within the Facedown hardcore community.
