DESCAPE Reveal “Property” Ahead Of Upcoming Album “True Colors”

Canadian metalcore outfit DESCAPE continue the road toward their new full-length album True Colors with “Property,” another chapter in a record that brings together the band’s modern heaviness, melodic instincts, and emotionally charged approach. Hailing from Sherbrooke, Québec, DESCAPE have been developing their sound since the project was launched by vocalist Dominic Rousseau in 2012, gradually evolving into a full band and building a growing catalog of releases. “Property” arrives as the third track on True Colors, adding another piece to an 11-song album scheduled for release on October 2, 2026, through Seek & Strike.

With “Property,” DESCAPE continue to explore the balance between weight and melody that has become central to their sound. The track sits within an album that also features previously released material including “Not At All,” “It’s Time!,” and “In Love With Another Lie,” giving True Colors a broad representation of the band’s current direction. The album spans 11 tracks and runs for just over 40 minutes, with “Property” listed at 3:37.

True Colors follows a series of releases that have steadily expanded DESCAPE’s presence, including the 2023 album You Had It All But It Fell Apart, the 2024 Fake Denial EP, and 2025’s As We All Wither EP, released through Seek & Strike. The band’s current chapter continues that progression while keeping the focus firmly on their own blend of aggressive instrumentation and melodic songwriting.

Now, with “Property” added to the campaign, DESCAPE are bringing True Colors one step closer. The full album arrives October 2 through Seek & Strike, with eleven tracks ready to reveal the next phase of the Québec metalcore outfit.
