Leipzig, Germany-based metalcore outfit BLACKTOOTHED continue the rollout toward their upcoming album Feral Bloom with “Porcelain,” another new track from the band’s next chapter. The song is part of the eleven-track album, which is scheduled for release on January 15, 2027 through Arising Empire. “Porcelain” follows a string of 2026 releases that have progressively introduced the record, including “Monsters,” “Tell Me I’m Not Alone,” “Cyclone,” and “Adrenaline,” giving listeners an increasingly clear picture of where BLACKTOOTHED are heading.
“Porcelain” continues the balance between melody, atmosphere, and heavier modern metalcore that has become an important part of BLACKTOOTHED’s identity. At just over three minutes, the track sits comfortably within the album’s varied approach, surrounded by songs that explore different shades of the band’s sound. Rather than simply relying on heaviness, BLACKTOOTHED have developed a style where melodic songwriting and more aggressive passages work alongside each other, creating space for both emotional weight and immediate impact.
The new song arrives as part of a particularly active period for the Leipzig outfit. BLACKTOOTHED have already revealed much of Feral Bloom through their recent singles, with the album’s eleven-song tracklist also featuring collaborations with Annisokay on “Scar Tissue” and Vicious Rain on “Gold Digger.” The forthcoming record will run for nearly 40 minutes, giving the band considerably more room to expand the ideas introduced across their recent releases.
With “Porcelain,” BLACKTOOTHED add another piece to the puzzle surrounding Feral Bloom. The Leipzig quartet continue moving between atmospheric melody and modern heaviness while steadily revealing a record that promises plenty of variety. January 15, 2027 is now firmly marked on the calendar — and BLACKTOOTHED are making sure the road to Feral Bloom is anything but quiet.
