BLACK SPIKES Unleash Another Dark Demon With “SENAS DEMONAS”

Lithuanian metal force BLACK SPIKES have released the official video for “SENAS DEMONAS,” taken from their newly released second full-length album Ydos. Released on August 28, 2026 through Napalm Records, the ten-track album dives into the flaws and darker impulses of human nature, weaving its concept through modern progressive metal, electronic elements, cinematic atmospheres and crushing heaviness. “SENAS DEMONAS,” translated as “old demon,” arrives deep into the record as another chapter in BLACK SPIKES’ exploration of the demons that can emerge from within.

The track continues the album’s conceptual journey by giving another of humanity’s darker forces a musical form. BLACK SPIKES combine elaborate guitar work with heavy rhythms, atmospheric textures and Agni’s versatile vocal performance, moving between powerful clean passages and harsher screams. The result is a track that fits naturally into the bleak and cinematic world of Ydos, where beauty and darkness constantly exist side by side.

Throughout Ydos, BLACK SPIKES dedicate individual songs to different human flaws and destructive tendencies. “SENAS DEMONAS” appears as the ninth track, following “AUREA” and preceding the closing song “DULKĖS.” The album also features “PASAKA,” “MOTINA,” “MELAS,” “MARA,” “ZELVAR,” “REVANA” and “APATIJA,” creating a ten-song narrative that moves through different manifestations of human imperfection.
