SUMMER BREEZE 2027 Surges Toward a Landmark Anniversary With 30,000 Tickets Already Sold

With this year’s SUMMER BREEZE Open Air only just behind us, the countdown to next summer is already gathering serious momentum. The 2027 edition has already passed the remarkable milestone of 30,000 tickets sold, setting the stage for a huge anniversary celebration at Dinkelsbühl, Germany, from August 18–21, 2027.

The festival has already revealed an enormous lineup of 63 confirmed acts, covering an expansive range of heavy music. At the centre of the anniversary edition will be SUMMER BREEZE LEGENDS & ORCHESTRA, joined by major names including Electric Callboy, Edguy, Saltatio Mortis, Children of Bodom, HammerFall, Halestorm, Wind Rose, Lord of the Lost, Eluveitie, H-Blockx, Swiss + Die Andern and CLAWFINGER.

The heavier side of the lineup is equally stacked, with Kataklysm, Dark Funeral, Shadow of Intent, Carnifex, Gaerea, Make Them Suffer, Gutalax, Anaal Nathrakh, Fleshgod Apocalypse, Burning Witches, Wolfheart, Legion of the Damned, Angelus Apatrida, Left To Suffer, Evil Invaders and Regarde Les Hommes Tomber all confirmed to descend on Dinkelsbühl.

The anniversary celebration will also feature Mono Inc., Warkings, Gloryhammer, Finntroll, Atreyu, Emil Bulls, Equilibrium, John Bush – Celebrating The Songs Of Anthrax 1993-2003, The Browning, Long Distance Calling, Any Given Day, Mittel Alta, Blue Medusa, Insomnium, Combichrist, Peeling Flesh, Primal Fear, Nasty, Kupfergold, End of Green, Ellende, Abbie Falls, Samurai Pizza Cats, Necrotted, Hiraes, Lavina, Asenblut, Accvsed, Spitting Glass, Ahab, Sunborn, The Night Eternal, Defiance HC and Capacopter.

For those looking to secure their place early, festival tickets are currently available for €219.97 until September 7, 2026, before increasing to €269.97 from September 8. 

Hard tickets are available for €229.97 until September 7, after which only e-tickets will be offered.
