With this year’s SUMMER BREEZE Open Air only just behind us, anticipation for next summer is already reaching remarkable levels. The festival has announced that more than 20,000 tickets for SUMMER BREEZE 2027 have already been sold, just two days after the conclusion of this year’s edition.
The momentum comes as the festival prepares to celebrate a major anniversary in 2027, with an already enormous lineup of 63 confirmed acts spanning the full spectrum of heavy music. Leading the charge will be SUMMER BREEZE LEGENDS & ORCHESTRA, alongside major names including Electric Callboy, Edguy, Saltatio Mortis, Children of Bodom, HammerFall, Halestorm, Wind Rose, Lord of the Lost, Eluveitie, H-Blockx, Swiss + Die Andern and CLAWFINGER.
The lineup reaches deep into the heavier end of the spectrum with appearances from Kataklysm, Dark Funeral, Shadow of Intent, Carnifex, Gaerea, Make Them Suffer, Gutalax, Anaal Nathrakh, Fleshgod Apocalypse, Burning Witches, Wolfheart, Legion of the Damned, Angelus Apatrida, Left To Suffer, Evil Invaders and Regarde Les Hommes Tomber.
Also confirmed for the anniversary edition are Mono Inc., Warkings, Gloryhammer, Finntroll, Atreyu, Emil Bulls, Equilibrium, John Bush – Celebrating The Songs Of Anthrax 1993-2003, The Browning, Long Distance Calling, Any Given Day, Mittel Alta, Blue Medusa, Insomnium, Combichrist, Peeling Flesh, Primal Fear, Nasty, Kupfergold, End of Green, Ellende, Abbie Falls, Samurai Pizza Cats, Necrotted, Hiraes, Lavina, Asenblut, Accvsed, Spitting Glass, Ahab, Sunborn, The Night Eternal, Defiance HC and Capacopter.
With such a substantial portion of the lineup already revealed and 20,000 tickets gone before the dust has even settled on the 2026 festival, SUMMER BREEZE 2027 is shaping up to be one of the event’s biggest editions yet.
The next edition of SUMMER BREEZE Open Air will take place August 18–21, 2027, in Dinkelsbühl, Germany.
Festival tickets are currently available for €219.97 until September 7, 2026, increasing to €269.97 from September 8. Hard tickets are available for €229.97 until September 7, after which only e-tickets will be offered.
