GLASS BRIDGES Sign With Year Of The Rat Records And Release Powerful New Single “Pray”

Southern England alternative rock outfit GLASS BRIDGES enter an exciting new chapter with the announcement of their signing to Year Of The Rat Records and the release of their powerful new single “Pray.” Arriving on July 3, 2026, the track serves as the first taste of the band's forthcoming EP and lands just ahead of their highly anticipated appearance at 2000 Trees Festival, marking a significant milestone for one of the UK's fastest-rising rock acts.

Blending atmospheric melodies, post-grunge energy, and emotionally driven songwriting, GLASS BRIDGES have built an impressive reputation through both their recorded output and commanding live performances. Fronted by Simona Cutifani, the band have amassed more than 4.5 million streams, attracted over 80,000 monthly Spotify listeners, and earned support from BBC Radio 1, BBC Surrey, and Planet Rock. Extensive UK touring and performances alongside established names, as well as festival appearances at 2000 Trees, RADAR Festival, and Mangata Festival, have further cemented their growing profile.

Speaking about the new single, vocalist Simona Cutifani shares: “The first track from this EP, ‘Pray’, defines a process of shifting perspectives. When I am able to move beyond the lens of personal story, I exist in service to love, and to all beings that walk this earth.” The song reflects that introspective vision, pairing soaring melodies with heartfelt lyricism while showcasing the band's ability to balance emotional vulnerability with dynamic alternative rock instrumentation.

With a new label home at Year Of The Rat Records—joining a roster that includes RinRin, Save Us, and Black Orchid Empire—and the release of “Pray,” GLASS BRIDGES continue their upward trajectory. Combining compelling songwriting, an ever-growing fanbase, and a string of high-profile live appearances, the band are poised to make 2026 their biggest year yet.
