DESTRUCTION OF THE HEALER Release New Single "Bestial Hunger" (feat. Gosika) and Announce New Album ‘A Universe Bereaved’

Destruction of the Healer return with ‘Bestial Hunger’, the first single from their upcoming full-length record ‘A Universe Bereaved’, due out in full July 9th. This first single marks a decisive move for the band into a more brutal and technical sound, a dense, suffocating instrumentation delivered with precision, intensity, and an unfiltered edge.

There’s no gloss here. ‘Bestial Hunger’ is tightly controlled chaos, razor-sharp riffs and relentless, a performance that feels as volatile as it is deliberate. Featuring guest vocals from Liam Hedges of Gosika, the track pushes further into extremes, blending piercing highs and cavernous gutturals to drive its themes with intent to conjure imagery of stalking, butchering, and cannibalising human cattle.

Hailing from Wollongong, NSW, the band have built their name off the back of intense live shows across the East Coast, where their precision and raw delivery are as undeniable on stage as they are on record. Their sound is underpinned by a high level of musical dexterity, sharp songwriting, and the technical ability to execute it all without compromise. Drawing influence from At the Gates, Cannibal Corpse, and The Black Dahlia Murder, they fuse melody and aggression into something that feels both grounded and uncompromising. This is underground death metal done right!

‘Bestial Hunger’ delivers a first taste to the upcoming full length, ‘A Universe Bereaved’ and it’s pure filth. With a short run of shows already announced and more dates to follow, expect more heavy to come from Destruction Of The Healer in the months to follow.
