MAZE’D Reveal New Music Video For “Satellite”

French act MAZE’D have released the official music video for “Satellite”, the fourth single taken from their 2025 album Asylum. Departing from their heavier roots, the track leans into alternative rock, prioritizing mood, restraint, and emotional pull. Built around a strong melodic core and an instantly memorable chorus, “Satellite” captures a sense of distance and quiet tension that unfolds naturally rather than forcing impact.

Musically, the song thrives on atmosphere. Clean guitar lines, subtle layering, and controlled dynamics allow the vocals to carry the emotional weight, striking a balance between vulnerability and confidence. It’s a measured approach that shows MAZE’D’s ability to write songs that resonate without relying on aggression or excess.

The accompanying music video was filmed in Japan during the band’s November 2025 tour and mirrors the song’s reflective tone. City lights, empty streets, and contemplative moments create a visual narrative of movement and isolation, reinforcing the feeling of drifting through unfamiliar spaces.

Hailing from Toulouse, France, MAZE’D continue to carve out a distinct identity within the modern alternative and metalcore-adjacent landscape. With Asylum produced and mastered by Mike Kalajian (All Time Low, A Day to Remember), the band prove they can evolve their sound while maintaining emotional impact and artistic focus.
