BRUTALITY PODCAST hosts xTheYan and Dom Dez have officially unveiled the winners of the DEATHCORE AWARDS 2025, marking the conclusion of the first-ever fan-voted awards show dedicated entirely to deathcore. With more than 6,000 votes cast, the global deathcore community made their voices heard loud and clear, celebrating the bands, artists, and releases that defined the genre throughout 2025.

The inaugural awards honored excellence across the scene, from musicianship and songwriting to albums, breakdowns, and visuals. Standout winners include PSYCHO-FRAME taking both Deathcore Band of the Year and Breakout Deathcore Band of the Year, WHITECHAPEL dominating multiple categories including Album of the Year (Hymns In Dissonance), Song of the Year (“A Visceral Retch”), Breakdown of the Year, and Legacy Deathcore Band of the Year, while REV3RENT claimed both Revival Deathcore Band and EP of the Year (Decimate).

Individual musicianship was also spotlighted, with Phil Bozeman (WHITECHAPEL) named Deathcore Vocalist of the Year, Adam De Micco (LORNA SHORE) winning Guitarist of the Year, Austin Archey (LORNA SHORE) earning Drummer of the Year, and Michael Cassese (SIGNS OF THE SWARM) taking Bassist of the Year. Additional honors went to WITHOUT A FACE as New Deathcore Band of the Year, ANGELMAKER for Album Artwork of the Year (This Used To Be Heaven), and LORNA SHORE’s “Prison of Flesh” winning Music Video of the Year.

The live awards stream also featured a mid-show performance from HEAVY//HITTER and multiple giveaways courtesy of INDIEMERCHSTORE, making the event a full celebration of the scene. With the Deathcore Awards 2025 now in the books, BRUTALITY PODCAST have firmly established a new annual tradition — one driven by the fans, powered by the scene, and rooted in pure deathcore devotion.
