Trans-fronted quintet Neversaid have released their stunning new single ‘The Sound Of Skin Breaking’ today! With a soaring melodic chorus, and crushingly heavy riffs, the London act are set to carve themselves out as a mainstay in the UK hardcore scene. The track is a devastating account of vocalist Lila Samuel’s struggles with gender dysphoria and the subsequent effects on her mental health. This song is a trans anthem as is sure to strike a chord with queer and ally listeners alike!
Neversaid are the new talk of the town in the queer hardcore scene. Since forming in 2020, the band have relentlessly toured around the UK, hitting the stage in support of acts including Hawthorne Heights, Dream State, Graphic Nature and BEX, as well as having sold out headline shows at icon venues such as The Hope & Anchor and The Camden Eye in London. Taking influence from acts such as Counterparts, Underoath, Stick To Your Guns, and Terror, Neversaid have a sound that is truly unique, combining emotion and melody with two-steps and breakdowns.
