Emerging Danish band COLD CULTURE continue to establish themselves on the post-hardcore scene with their distinctive electronic-infused take on heavy music. They now present their new single ‘Chemicals’, a track that explores themes of love and addiction.
Vocalist Mads Zelasny explains: “Our new track reflects the intensity of a relationship that feels like a chemical reaction - something beyond control, something I can’t live without. It touches on love, addiction, and the fear of losing someone who brings light into your life. ‘Chemicals’ represents that physical, almost addictive bond.”
Listen to ‘Chemicals’ below.
COLD CULTURE first burst onto the scene with their debut EP ‘Afterthoughts’ (2023), which included standout tracks such as ‘Low’ (featuring Philip Strand of Normandie), and ‘Faded’. Since then, the band has performed at Denmark’s official heavy music award show Den Hårde Tone in 2024 and toured extensively across Europe and the UK with SIAMESE and CHAOSBAY. With a rapidly growing fanbase and reputation for intense, emotionally charged performances, COLD CULTURE continue to build momentum. This fall, they embarked on yet another EU tour with CHAOSBAY and DEAD POSEY, before closing out the year with their biggest show to date, supporting SIAMESE at Poolen, in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Their new single, ‘Chemicals’ - produced by rising talents Mads Zelasny and Michael Mentz, and mixed and mastered by renowned producer Chris Kreutzfeldt (CABAL, Ghost Iris, i.e.) - showcases an emotional and rock-inspired side of the band’s evolving sound.
‘Chemicals’ is already available on all streaming platforms via Prime Collective.
