Manchester’s boundary-breaking five-piece ALCHEMIZE return in full force with their electrifying new single Do You Feel Alive?, out November 21, 2025 via Year Of The Rat Records. Blending R&B fluidity with metal intensity, the group continues to cement their status as one of the UK’s most exciting genre-fusion acts. With a lineup built around three dynamic vocalists and a sound that defies traditional boxes, ALCHEMIZE have already earned official playlisting across Spotify, Apple Music, Deezer, Amazon Music, Pandora and TIDAL, while securing major coverage with BBC Radio 1—including Track Of The Week—Kerrang, Metal Hammer, Dreambound, RTE2XM, Amazing Radio, Idobi Howl and Total Rock Radio. The band’s momentum has only accelerated with multiple sold-out headliners and stage-sharing appearances alongside Polar, Chaosbay, Call Me Amour, Defences, Paradise Fell and Black Coast.
Do You Feel Alive? arrives as a vivid snapshot of ALCHEMIZE in evolution—bigger, more confident and more emotionally daring than ever. The band’s signature blend of groove-driven rhythm, punchy metalcore energy and shimmering melodic interplay is pushed further into the spotlight, making this their most infectious and accessible track to date. While rooted in their early playful spirit, the single also highlights the maturity, cohesion and sharpened songwriting that have propelled them into the UK's rising-artist spotlight and onto the radar of tastemakers across the heavy and alternative landscape.
Speaking on the themes behind the new single, vocalist Adam Kenyon explains: “This track came from a really personal place. Lyrically, it’s about watching someone you care about slowly turn into someone you no longer recognise, that Jekyll-to-Hyde feeling when a close friend or partner drifts away, and you’re left questioning everything. There’s frustration, hurt and that bittersweet acceptance that some relationships just can’t be saved. Musically though, we wanted to do the complete opposite, keep it light, fun and bouncy. We took inspiration from our earlier releases and tried to capture that raw, playful energy we had when we first started writing together.”
Kenyon continues, “It was about reminding ourselves that music can still be exciting and cathartic, even when the subject matter is heavy. The result is a track that feels like a release—you know, dancing through the frustration, shouting out the anger, but ultimately letting go. You can take something painful and turn it into something that feels good to sing, shout and move to.” With Do You Feel Alive? launching a new chapter alongside Year Of The Rat Records (RinRin, Esoterica, Lastelle, SAVE US), ALCHEMIZE are poised to accelerate even further. Expect more singles, more shows and a rapidly rising presence in the UK’s modern heavy-music movement.
