If Not For Me is kicking down the door with their new single "Retrograde," out Friday, October 24th via Thriller Records. The band delivers a gripping mix of emotion and intensity that hit straight to the core. Paired with a stunning visualizer, "Retrograde" captures the push and pull between heartbreak and hope.
Retrograde" speaks to the way memory can blur the line between comfort and heartbreak, drawing strength from both. On the new single, vocalist Patrick Glover shares:
"I wrote 'Retrograde' about losing a loved one far too soon and the immeasurable grief that follows. We often feel like we would do anything it takes to just go back to how things were before they were gone, but we know it can never be that simple. The only solace for me is that maybe one day I'll get to see them again, in a different place where the hurt never existed."
