RinRin is the musical project of Filipino-born and Australian-based singer-songwriter and guitarist Qarin Hipe. Taking cues from luminaries BABYMETAL, Poppy, and Bring Me The Horizon, RINRIN creates her own unique brand of pop-punk and metal that radiates infectious energy. Since bursting onto the scene in 2020 with her debut single The Game, the 20-year-old has had a meteoric trajectory, sharing stages with Windwaker, Redhook, Reliqa, The Plot In You, ERRA, Caskets, The Home Team, and To Octavia. More recently, she joined Walk Off The Earth’s six-city arena tour in China in April 2024. In her rapid rise, RINRIN has signed to Year Of The Rat Records and gained support from BBC Radio 1 Rock Show, Metal Hammer, MTV Gonzo, Triple J, Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, Pandora, TIDAL, and Deezer. The highly anticipated debut album The Nut House has now been released on September 12, 2025.
The Nut House introduces a fearless vision of modern heavy music, blending razor-sharp riffs, soaring choruses, and unapologetic lyrical honesty. RINRIN proves her ability to fuse vulnerability with aggression, offering a collection of songs that capture both emotional depth and explosive energy. With its mix of heavy, melodic, and infectious elements, the album firmly establishes RINRIN as one of the most exciting new voices to emerge in the alternative and metal scenes.
We describe Killher as one of the album’s most unflinching statements, a track that channels obsession and darkness through blistering instrumentation and commanding vocals. The official video brings this narrative to life, crafted as part of the RINRIN multiverse where fantasy and delusion collide. Here, Rin becomes consumed by a desire so intense it warps into fixation, transforming her character into a guardian driven by possession, obsession, and fate. The striking visuals amplify the track’s themes, immersing viewers in a chilling and cinematic story.

From intimate beginnings to international stages, RINRIN continues to carve her path with a unique sound and vision that bridges pop-punk, metal, and cinematic storytelling. With her debut album, she stands ready to take her place on the world stage, redefining what it means to be a rising star in heavy music.
