The 2025 edition of AMA Music Festival ran from August 19th to 28th at the scenic Parco di Villa Negri in Romano d’Ezzelino, Veneto in Italy. Unlike many large festivals, AMA operates on a day-to-day basis with no camping, offering fans a series of carefully curated performances across multiple days in a beautiful park setting. Surrounded by lush greenery and historic architecture, the festival set the stage for a day of unforgettable performances across modern metal, hardcore, and alt-metal.
Ruidos Del Norte opened the day with a 42-minute set, proving they know how to command a crowd. The Italian four-piece hardcore metal outfit delivered tight, high-energy performances, and by the end of their last song, the pit erupted into full moshing chaos, setting the tone for the evening.
Next up, Paleface Swiss brought the heaviest moment of the night. The Swiss band stormed the stage with no introduction, launching straight into pure power and aggression. Vocal commands pushed the crowd into circle pits and crowd surfing, while tracks like Hatred, Love Burns, The Gallows, and I Am the Cursed One showcased their ferocity. The set concluded beautifully with River of Sorrows, as fans hoisted girls onto shoulders amidst the chaos—proof of Paleface Swiss’ rising dominance in the heavy music scene.
I Prevail hit the stage five minutes late but wasted no time igniting the crowd. Opening with hit single Bow Down, followed by Body Bag, the band blended their originals with a medley of covers, including Deftones’ My Own Summer, Alice in Chains’ Them Bones, and System of a Down’s Chop Suey. They dedicated Hurricane to Dave Chaputo, who tragically passed in a plane accident, bringing a heartfelt moment to the set. Fans illuminated the sky with their phone lights as the band closed with Gasoline at 21:40.
Finally, Electric Callboy delivered the festival’s grand finale—their last summer festival show. The band opened with a playful intro featuring their Elevator Operator skit, quickly escalating into a full-blown spectacle. Pyrotechnics, fireworks, and crowd interaction set the stage for tracks like Mc Thunder II, Spaceman, Hypa Hypa, and Tekkno Train. Covers of Maggie Reilly’s Everytime We Touch, Linkin Park’s Crawling, and Backstreet Boys’ I Want It That Way kept fans roaring, while coordinated rituals and high-energy choreography made the performance unforgettable. Their show concluded just before midnight, leaving the crowd buzzing.
It’s difficult to put into words what AMA Music Festival truly offers. From intimate moshing pits to explosive pyrotechnics, from heartfelt tributes to pure, unrelenting fun, you had to be there to experience it all. AMA 2025 proved that Romano d’Ezzelino is a place where music comes alive in every sense. Until next time—arrivederci, Italia.
