Flint, Michigan’s own KING 810 return with their latest single Blood, Rum & Rhythm, a haunting and unflinching dose of their signature blend of spoken-word menace, crushing riffs, and cinematic atmosphere. Known for crafting vivid, uncompromising tales from life’s harshest realities, the band once again pulls listeners deep into their shadowy world.
Blood, Rum & Rhythm is the first track from the upcoming LP K7: rustbelt numetal 2. The album, titled K7 RBNM2, was recorded live on the summer solstice — June 22 — in a single day, performed in front of an intimate studio audience of just 45 people. The track drips with tension, weaving raw storytelling with heavy, groove-laden instrumentation that blurs the line between metal, hip-hop, and gothic soundscapes.
The release continues the band’s tradition of using music as both a weapon and a diary, confronting themes of violence, survival, and identity. With its stark production and unflinching delivery, Blood, Rum & Rhythm is more than just a song — it’s a chapter in the ongoing saga that has defined KING 810 since their inception.
From the heart of Flint to audiences worldwide, KING 810 prove once again that they are unafraid to stand apart, unafraid to speak their truth, and unafraid to paint it in blood.
