GRAYSHAPES Unleash Haunting New Single ‘Повінь’

Kyiv, Ukraine–based metalcore outfit GRAYSHAPES have released their latest single, Повінь (translated “Flood”), taken from their new album Де Поховані Спогади, which dropped on May 16, 2025.

Повінь weaves atmospheric chords and tense melodies with driving rhythms and emotive vocals, immersing listeners in a sonic world marked by loss, memory, and emotional deluge. Clocking in at 3:47 with a swift 175 BPM in F♯ minor (Camelot 11A), the track carries both emotional and musical urgency.

Lyrically, the song explores themes of sudden emotional upheaval, fading memories, and internal scars. Poetic lines speak to grief and resilience.

Building on their evolution toward darker, heavier soundscapes hinted at in earlier singles like Крик, which spoke on the impact of war and uncertainty, Повінь expands their artistic reach with cinematic textures and refined heaviness.

The track is the latest release from Де Поховані Спогади, a full-length album promising to reshape GRAYSHAPES’ sound with even more emotional gravity and intensity.

Повінь is available now on Bandcamp, Spotify, and all major streaming services. Dive into the flood and feel the catharsis of this striking new chapter.
