"Hum From The Hollow" showcases the band's signature blend of mathematically precise 8-string guitar work and crushing rhythmic foundations. Lyrically, it navigates themes of internal decay and psychological torment. Sonically, the single balances the band's insane technical prowess with a visceral, almost suffocating sense of fury that perfectly complements the track's exploration of existential dread. Speaking on the new track, founding guitarist Trent Hafdahl explains "This song is one of many from the new album that have the same theme: pissed off. Sometimes you have to strip it all down and give the fans something to let their anger out to, so that's what we did here."

With Anthony Notarmaso's devastating vocal performance perfectly mirroring the song's exploration of psychological torment, Trent Hafdahl's innovative, jagged guitar work anchoring their sound and the unflinching rhythm section of Adrian Oropeza (bass) and Dan Carle (drums) providing a brutally heavy, unshakeable foundation, "Hum From The Hollow" confirms that After The Burial continue to be a band that understands the therapeutic power of pure, unrelenting heaviness who are unafraid to confront the uncomfortable realities of human experience through their brutal sonic lens.
