Minneapolis, MN -- Active-rock band, The Failsafe, are sharing their sleek new cover track, "The Ballad Of Mona Lisa," originally performed by Panic! At The Disco, on June 27 via Ghost Killer Entertainment. The track is set to be featured on GKE's upcoming Pop Goes Hardcore Volume 3, due out July 4. This the band's follow-up release to their 2024 track "Wolves."
The Failsafe puts a unique spin on Panic! At The Disco's track "The Ballad Of Mona Lisa." The song, produced by Dusty Boles, (Static X, Theory Of A Deadman, A Killer's Confession,) brings melodies to life in a cinematic way. The band creates a modern-rock atmosphere that is sure to draw new listeners in.
"We chose this song as the compilation was originally going to be a Panic! At the Disco theme and all the good ones from “A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out” were taken. Looking into it more I was not able to find a good rock version of this song. Most were just direct covers or the original. It seems like a good idea to add a heavy modern twist to one of my favorite P!ATD songs! " - Jesse Weber, lead vocalist.
