HAIL THE SUN Release Explosive New Single, "The Drooling Class," Produced By Pete Adams and GRAMMY® winner Johnny Kosich of Beach Noise (Kendrick Lamar)

Legendary independent New York-based rock label Equal Vision Records, kill iconic records and Hail The Sun are excited to present “The Drooling Class,” the California experimental rock band’s explosive new single. Produced/engineered by Pete Adams and GRAMMY® Award winner Johnny Kosich of Beach Noise (Kendrick Lamar) and mixed/mastered by Zakk Cervini (Blink-182, Bring Me The Horizon, Coheed and Cambria), “The Drooling Class” ushers in a brand new era for the celebrated rock quintet and is accompanied by a music video that was directed by James Coffman and shot recently at the White Oak Music Hall in Houston, TX.

Hail The Sun frontman Donovan Melero had the following to share about “The Drooling Class”: “This song is the representation of our unwavering and undeterred drive — all from a place of love. I’m not coming from a place of unjustified confidence or arrogance. I just know there is no way that you want it the same. And that’s how it will always be.”

Watch the music video for “The Drooling Class” on YouTube below, stream the track on all platforms HERE, and stay tuned for more information on the upcoming Hail The Sun album, the highly anticipated follow-up to its acclaimed 2023 LP, Divine Inner Tension, to be announced soon.

Additionally, Hail The Sun will be making North American appearances on its co-headline tour with Between The Buried and Me throughout September and October. Kicking off on Sunday, September 14 at Union Transfer in Philadelphia, PA, the tour will feature support from Delta Sleep and The World Is A Beautiful Place & I Am No Longer Afraid To Die in select markets through Thursday, October 30. A full listing of dates can be found below, and general on sale begins this Friday, June 27 at 10 a.m. local time.

Helmed by notable producer Kris Crummett, Divine Inner Tension, Hail The Sun’s latest album, finds the veteran rock band questioning everything about what it means to be here and to be alive, on both a micro level — where the importance of our existence is profound and paramount — and on a macro one — where our time on this planet is nothing but irrelevant and insignificant. Across its 12 stirring and intense songs, the album is a journey that takes the listener back and forth between those two extremes as it tries to reconcile that paradox of living intentionally but relinquishing control by taking your hands off the wheel and letting the universe guide you.
