CROSSFAITH/KNOSIS Part Ways with Guitarist Daiki Koide Amid Misconduct Allegations

Japanese metalcore/electronicore band CROSSFAITH have officially dismissed guitarist Daiki Koide following confirmed reports of inappropriate communication with an underage fan. The band’s decision, announced on June 28, 2025, came after serious allegations surfaced on social media and led to the cancellation of the remainder of their European tour.

The dismissal comes in the wake of public accusations that surfaced during the band's performance at Graspop Metal Meeting, Belgium, when Ronnie Radke of Falling In Reverse addressed the issue onstage, claiming the guitarist had “chatted with a 14‑year‑old girl”

In an official statement shared on their X (formerly Twitter) account, CROSSFAITH confirmed:

“It was recently confirmed that our guitarist, Daiki, engaged in inappropriate communication with an underage fan. Recognizing the gravity of this misconduct, we have decided to dismiss him from the band effective immediately. We deeply apologize to the victim, our fans and all concerned parties for the distress this incident has caused. We take this matter very seriously.”

The band also disclosed that the ongoing European tour—including appearances at high-profile festivals—was officially cancelled due to these developments. Additionally, Daiki has been removed from the lineup of Knosis, the side project led by Ryo (ex-Crystal Lake), where he had served as a support guitarist, and is no longer participating.

Since then guitarist's Instagram page that had over 12k followers has been taken down.
