CHEVELLE Unleashes “Jim Jones (Cowards, Pt. 2)” as Second Single from Upcoming Album

Illinois-based alternative metal band Chevelle has released their latest single, “Jim Jones (Cowards, Pt. 2),” on May 28, 2025. This track serves as the second installment in their 'Cowards' series, following the previously released "Rabbit Hole (Cowards, Pt. 1)." Both songs are part of Chevelle's forthcoming tenth studio album, Bright as Blasphemy, scheduled for release on August 15 via Alchemy Recordings.

“Jim Jones (Cowards, Pt. 2)” delivers a potent blend of groove-metal riffs and dynamic vocals, showcasing the band's signature sound. The accompanying lyric video is available on YouTube, providing fans with a visual representation of the song's intense energy.

Chevelle's upcoming album, Bright as Blasphemy, marks their first release since 2021's NIRATIAS and their debut with Alchemy Recordings. The album explores themes of dystopian techno-futurism and human existence, as reflected in track titles like "AI Phobias" and "Shocked at the End of the World."
