TORN FROM OBLIVION Drops New EP And Visualizer For 'Ill Fate'

Hailing from Eindhoven, Netherlands, TORN FROM OBLIVION merges deathcore and hardcore with a modern, progressive approach. Brimming with aggression and experimental compositions, the new EP ‘Transcend’ showcases the band's relentless energy. To celebrate the release, the quintet has also unveiled a visualizer for the track ‘Ill Fate’.

"‘Ill Fate’ explores how people can become blinded by their beliefs, whether religious or otherwise, thinking that a greater force will solve their problems. Waiting for something external to intervene—without working on yourself—won’t fix anything; it will only bury the problems deeper. True growth comes from self-reflection and learning from past mistakes", the band explains.

Since their formation in 2022, TORN FROM OBLIVION has rapidly established themselves as a rising force in the metal scene. With two independent EPs, ‘The Extinction’ and ‘Convergence’, both released in 2022, and a series of electrifying live performances, including sold-out headline shows and support slots with DISTANT and Vended, the band has proven their capacity to captivate audiences with their unrelenting energy.

The new EP ‘Transcend’ highlights TORN FROM OBLIVION’s dedication to creating bold, innovative music that resonates with metal fans worldwide, cementing their status as a standout force in the modern metal scene. Reflecting on the EP, the band describes it as an exploration of personal and artistic growth:“As humans we are never perfect, but working on becoming a better person will always be worth it. This EP marks our evolution, both musically and personally. It explores self-growth, struggles, and perseverance while blending aggressive riffs, crushing breakdowns, dreamy synths, and emotional melodies.”

‘Transcend’ is already available on all streaming platforms via Prime Collective.
