SPLIT Drops Debut EP '2300' With Video For New Track 'Broken'

After making waves in the Danish hardcore scene with their singles ‘Stronger Than Ever’ featuring Lifesick and ‘Cold Heart’ featuring DETHRXNER, Copenhagen-based hardcore quintet SPLIT now present their highly anticipated debut EP ‘2300’. Accompanying the release, the band presents a music video for the track ‘Broken’.

“This EP has been a passion project of mine for a long time, and we’re beyond excited to finally share it with the world,” explains vocalist Benjamin Jeppesen. “'Broken' perfectly ties together the hardcore and metalcore elements that define ‘2300’”.

At the heart of SPLIT’s vision is 21-year-old vocalist and songwriter Benjamin Jeppesen. His journey began in New York City, where he honed his skills as a guitarist with the band The Dead Are Living. By age 14, he was already sharing stages with renowned acts like I See Stars, The Last Ten Seconds of Life, and Eyes Set to Kill. This early exposure to the music scene fueled a passion for hardcore that would eventually culminate in the creation of SPLIT.

In 2024, Jeppesen formed SPLIT with a clear vision: to push the boundaries of the genre and bring hardcore to new audiences. Backed by his talented bandmates Viktor, Linus, Aske, and Anders, SPLIT is poised to solidify their place as one of the most promising new acts in hardcore with the release of their debut EP ‘2300’.

The new EP ‘2300’, along with the track ‘Broken, ’ is now available on all streaming platforms via Prime Collective.
