Linkin Park are back
After a seven-year break, Linkin Park is returning with a new front woman and are not only releasing a new song, but are also announcing a new album and a tour!
Last night, Linkin Park released their first proper single since the tragic death of Chester Bennington. The song is called “The Emptiness Machine” and was even performed live right away.
And the new singer? None other than Emily Armstrong, the former frontwoman of Dead Sara, who is bringing a fresh, powerful voice to Linkin Park in their new era. She’s already nailed the band’s songs. It might take a little getting used to, especially since fans have loved Chester’s voice for decades. Still, we’re thrilled with what they’ve delivered so far.
A new drummer has also joined the band. Colin Brittain is now a permanent member, while Alex Feder appears to be filling in temporarily as guitarist while Brad Delson is away.
This is the entire tracklist:
1. From Zero (Intro)
2. The Emptiness Machine
3. Cut The Bridge
4. Heavy Is The Crown
5. Over Each Other
6. Casualty
7. Overflow
8. Two Faced
9. Stained
10. IGYEIH
11. Good Things Go
