MIND INCISION Unveils Explosive New Single "Final Warning"

Denver, CO – Denver CO-based frontman Jason Neil, formerly of Arcanium, has assembled a new cast of some of the most creative characters in his locale to form a new heavy rock band, MIND INCISION. The band, established in September 2022, features lead guitarist Jon Maggard (Fist Fight), bassist Joel Karschner (Adam’s Ruin, The Crimson Red), rhythm guitarist Kyle Loucks (Cost of Revenge, Greed), and drummer Kelly Morse, making them a “supergroup” of some of the best local independent metal talent.

The band’s latest single, "Final Warning," is a testament to their evolving sound and profound lyrical content. After doing some late-night reading, Jason Neil found an interesting quote from Albert Einstein "Compound interest is the eighth wonder of the world. He who understands it, earns it. He who doesn't, pays it," and found it an apt analogy for the trajectory of the modern world. “Our problems are compounding – and all the negativity people put into the world is growing exponentially. It could overtake us if we don’t heed the lessons of the past.” It stuck with him when writing “Final Warning.” “These things gain power and momentum as we let them compound.”

MIND INCISION is known for the deep meaning in their songs. Specific tracks address particularly sensitive issues like “The Awakening” that deals with the problem of suicide and self-harm, “Zero230” which brings attention to PTSD and Veterans’ plight after returning home from deployment, and "Aneurysm of a Narcissist," which focuses on domestic violence awareness. “I just hope we reach people with our music. I hope that our music can help someone with anything they are going through,” shares Loucks.

Accompanying the release of "Final Warning" on streaming services everywhere 7/31, MIND INCISION has shot a powerful video that captures the essence of the song’s message. The video is available to watch below and widely the next day providing fans with a powerful visual experience to complement the impactful lyrics and music.

Having released a handful of singles and music videos including “The Awakening” in recent months, MIND INCISION is now preparing to hit the road for the first time together. They will tour Europe with Ill Niño in August/September and will play in the US in October with Mushroomhead and Upon A Burning Body. “We’re ready now,” Neil says. “We are here to get out there and do some incredible things with the music we are creating for some good causes as well as for the fans.
