HELLDOWN Unstoppable Welsh RIff Masters Continue To Rise With New Single & Video!

Powerful UK metallers HELLDOWN surge forward with the release of their new single and video, War Is All, out now. Watch the stunning video below!

Hailing from Swansea, Wales, HELLDOWN have unleashed a series of barnstorming releases throughout the past decade. The quartet, which are comprised of brothers Ben and Matthew Evans (respective Bassist/Vocalist and Rhythm Guitarist), Ross Thomas (Drums) and Lewis Larkman (Lead Guitarist), dropped their debut self-titled EP in 2016, which was soon followed with 2017’s single, The Watchers. The potent riff slayers marched forward in 2019 with their EP, In Deaths Hands, and in 2022 delivered another mighty slab of modern thrash metal in the guise of their single, Embers, which solidified their reputation as one of the fiercest bands to come out of South Wales.

So far, the rampant metallers have picked up many accolades and much coverage from Metal Hammer, Powerplay Magazine, Ever Metal, Metal Talk, Moshville, Noizze, Maximum Volume Music and Total Rock, through to recent airplay on Kerrang! Radio. HELLDOWN also have a formidable reputation for their live work, having played alongside everyone from the likes of Phil Campbell, Toxic Holocaust, Exhumed, Acid Reign, Triaxis, Malignancy and Gama Bomb to Hellripper.

HELLDOWN started off 2024 with a bang in delivering their single, Beneath The Veil, and its accompanying video . The single gripped both new and old fans, as well as many industry tastemakers. Now, HELLDOWN are ready to kick on further with the release of their next single and video, War Is All. The track is bolstered by monolithic guitars, thumping drum work and pounding grooves. Wrapped with fiery and powerful vocal lines, the song is another glaring example of the four-piece’s true quality. The band comment about the single: “War Is All is a straightforward song about the damage war creates not just to the individual, but to the world. It’s about that no matter how hard you look, war is always the outcome, and there’s no use in looking for an alternative.”

With further material on the horizon, and a slew of continued live performances, HELLDOWN are set to break out to new territories this year.
