AWAKE FOR DAYS - The New Single "Betrayed (ft. Cristian Machado)" Out on October 6th!

After the release of the new album “Multiverse” in March and an exciting second American Tour, alternative metal act Awake For Days is back with "Betrayed", new single recorded at FuelMusic Studio in Los Angeles and produced by Eddy Cavazza for Silent Ghost International - set to be released on October 6th in all digital platforms - with Cristian Machado (Ill Niño) as guest. “Singing together with Cristian Machado has always been a dream since I was 15 years old, and as I said to him as soon as we started recording 'You have realized the dream of a boy that 20 years ago listened to Revolution Revolución like a mantra every day'” says their frontman Lukas “Everything was very unexpected we were on 2 Days Off in Los Angeles and we went to visit our friend Addasi at his Fuel Music Studio, and he told us "guys now that you are here it would be fantastic if you could record a song, maybe a feat with the my friend Cristian Machado, what do you think?” our Manager Kelley Wright immediately supported the idea, pushing for its realization, organizing everything very quickly and professionally with Addasi! That same evening we sent a song to Cristian and he immediately agreed to do it even though we had very little time since we were on tour, and we would have left again in few days! I knew from the beginning that his iconic voice was perfect for the song “Betrayed” and it all happened with crazy ease, working with a professional like him was truly inspiring! Our Producer Eddy Cavazza from Silent Ghost produced the song finalizing the recordings we did at the Fuel Music Studio with an AMAZING Mix and Master exalting the work of all of us!”.

And that's not all: the band will be part of the famous mexican music festival Hell & Heaven Festival on November 4th with names as Slipknot, Muse and Guns'n'Roses: “Hell & Heaven is literally a dream come true. An opportunity arrived thanks to the many concerts in the United States and the fantastic response of the American audience, an award for courage and constant work: a band from Sardinia that puts its name together with Slipknot, Muse, Guns and Roses, and dozens of other rock giants. Awake For Days (also abbreviated as AFD), is a Sardinian Alternative Metal band from Nuoro, founded in 2013 by lead vocalist Lukas Moore. With a style that includes alternative metal, groove metal and metalcore in its DNA, the band has released 2 full-length, “Magnificent Disorder” and “Multiverse”. With the second LP, the band's growth veers towards a more reflective American alt/metal-oriented sound. The singles “With You”, “Break Your Chains” and “Fearless Overall” testify to the band's commitment to sensitive issues and the urgency of purposeful communication.
