Edinburgh, Scotland based 4 piece rock band, happydaze, are sharing their glistening new single, "Been and Gone" due out September 15 via Thriller Records. The track is accompanied by a lyric video. "Been and Gone" acts as a companion piece to happydaze's recently released EP, Full Free Radical.
"Been and Gone" echoes in and delivers a glowing presence. The track ascends into powerful melodies and is laced with a stand-out edge. happydaze expresses raw emotions in an honest manor. This track digs into vulnerability adding a layer of relatability for fans to cling onto.
“After getting out and touring for the first time last year, the rush of being out in the world again was quite overwhelming. I lost a bit of direction, lost touch with a lot of people and didn’t know how to keep up with the pace of everything around me. The song is about grounding yourself in the moment, reaching out to the people you care about and realizing that there’s life ahead of you to appreciate.” Says vocalist, Luke Bovill about the new song.
happydaze have recently been featured as Next Wave Artist on Jack Saunders' Future Artists (Radio 1.) The band has gained notable support since release of previous singles “Cool Blue,” "Faded," “(Full Free) Radical” and “Heaven You Felt.” With further coverage on Radio 1 alongside outlets such as idobi Radio, Kerrang! and Rock Sound, they continue to garner attention from new listeners and skyrocket their fanbase.
