GrayWeather is the somber and melancholic gray sky found looming over the Pacific Northwest, which parallels the adverse reality that exists in our everyday lives. It is an evident concept with threads entwined much deeper.
The band consists of Jake Mercer, Jared Michael, Brandon Steputat, Mike Sahm and Rick Orozco. Together they have set out to forge a sound of their own, borrowing elements from progressive metal, active rock, metal, and more.
Drawing influence from a myriad of works, particularly sci-fi and future analog films, meshed with somber lyrics inspired from difficult experiences in life. GrayWeather will lead listeners through a unique musical journey.
