Shallowheart is singer, songwriter, multi instrumentalist producer Randy Pasquarella and songwriter, multi instrumentalist, and vocalist, Ryan Gilmartin. The duos first single, “Bloodflower,” marks the beginning of a new musical journey embossed with limitless sonic possibilities, driven by emotion, where the goal is building songs organically off of a specific vibe.
This collaboration has blossomed out of many years working together in the studio where Pasquarella has recorded and produced Gilmartin’s metalcore band Feed The Addiction. Also noteworthy, Pasquarella’s metalcore band, If I Were You has established itself as a fan favorite amassing millions of streams and counting.
The result as heard with their debut single, “Bloodflower,” is a hybridization of genres as their musical inspiration is drawn from a multi-genre pallet of styles. Although aggressive at the core, the music is draped over a dark brooding landscape of dreamy, ambient electrifying dark pop, with melodic choruses and infectious verses. Besides sounding unique musically, having two distinct voices that can both execute clean and grit in various styles adds an element of uniqueness that will be certain to set Shallowheart apart and win them recognition.
