WHERE OCEANS BURN - Present New Single "Dysmorphia"

WHERE OCEANS BURN are a 4 piece metalcore act from Manchester, UK, drawing inspiration from artists such as Northlane, Architects and Thornhill. Following up on the release of their single ‘Manifest’, they now present the second single ‘Dysmorphia’, a cutting, gritty and fast paced culmination of energy - check out the accompanying music video above.

“‘Dysmorphia’ showcases a new style and a tonal shift from us, which you can expect to be hearing more of in the coming months. Lyrically, the track is a lot deeper than any of our other songs so far, talking about something almost everybody can relate to, with themes surrounding body dysmorphia and the negative impacts of obsession with our own perception and how it can lead to self destructive behaviors that we struggle to gain control of”, the band muses.

Their singles 'Hollow Heart', 'Shadow // Self’, ‘The Only Home We Know’ and ‘Phoenix’ gained huge success, surpassing 1 million streams on Spotify alone, with features on official editorial playlists such as 'New Metal Tracks', 'Metal UK' and 'New Blood’, as well as videos surpassing 200,000 views. The band embarked on their first UK tour in September 2021 and have played alongside a variety of heavily respected bands including sold out shows supporting Decapitated and After The Burial to name a few, as well as being included in the UK Tech-Fest 2022 line-up.

The new single 'Dysmorphia' is released through Prime Collective and already available on all streaming services.
