PSY:CODE - Present Their First Single 'Varies' From Upcoming Album

Copenhagen-based metal quintet PSY:CODE are well-known for their ability to create different atmospheres and expressions through their music, while always seeking to explore new musical directions. After the release of the LP ‘Persona’ in 2020, the quintet has now returned and they’re ready with their fifth album ‘PSVCODE’, which will hit harder than any of it predecessors, while still making space for more atmospheric elements. Today they present the first single 'Varies' - check out the accompanying music video above.

"Sometimes there’s just a song that touches you in a certain way. Even though we’re proud of every song on the new album, we all agreed that 'Varies' should be our first single, as it also represents the album. Straight forward, heavy, brutal and no bullshit", the band explains.

Since 2010, the band has released four critically acclaimed albums, ‘Delusion’ (2010), ‘Cause and Neglect’ (2013), ‘Mørke’ (2017) and most recently ‘Persona’ (2020). They are now ready to unleash their fifth LP ‘PSVCODE’ - a natural progression grounded in all of their previous albums. Produced by Tue Madsen at Antfarm Studios, the coming album is set to be released on December 3rd, 2021.
