SKUMLOVE - Celebrates Mental Health and His Birthday With A Killer Show and Mental Health Panel

Self-described as Dark Rock, Skum Love will be celebrating his birthday and first Mental Health Awareness event for The You Rock Foundation on August 29th at the Whisky A Go-Go with special bands SKUMLOVE Symbolism, The Mendenhall Experiment, and Fate DeStroyed. Skum Love wanted to create an event that would bring people together in an intimate setting where they could feel comfortable speaking about mental health, ask questions and enjoy bands. In his own words, “I am so excited to get back to playing live that is my life’s blood. And to be able to give back in this way and make it more than just a drunken party.” Skum adds, “For 20 years I have shown the Skum side, now it’s time to show the LOVE!”

Skum Love recently released his long awaited single and music video, “The Dark” on all platforms and it has been well received. The song depicts four characters dealing with stress, anxiety, depression & Suicide.

In addition to the August 29th event, SKUMLOVE had raised thousands of dollars for The ‘You Rock Foundation’ including donations form David Draiman of Disturbed, Schecter Guitars just to name a few.

Many special guests to be announced including Brandon Mendenhall (Mendenhall experiment) , Devix Szell (Symbolism), & Skumlove plus others TBA. Dr. Jennifer Palladino of The You Rock Foundation. will be leading the panel. Dr. Palladino is a Doctor of Chiropractics and sound healing therapist specializing in the treatment of injuries and conditions specific to musicians and performing artists.
