WINDRUNNER - Welcomes You To Earth 2 With New Track "Raven"

Vietnamese Progressive Metalcore quintet WINDRUNNER are back with a follow-up track to 'Cyan' which was released last April. 'Raven', the brand new single, is released via Famined Records and is now available to stream on various music streaming platforms here:

With the band's new offering comes another plethora of explosive and groovy instrumentation combined with a mixture of harsh and soulful vocals. 'Raven' is also accompanied by a visualizer, the part 2 for the its predecessor's music video, which follows an animated hero crew in an apocalyptic world.

The track gives insight on a society where the reason for all the pain and suffering of mankind was created by no other than mankind itself. It's where the powerful takes it all, and the less fortunate are bound to get treated like lifeless puppets. 'Raven' calls out human's greed and barbarity, the ability to treat their own kind with such dreadful measures. Everybody wants to be a winner, to "wear the sinful crown", but all for what? A fallen world-violent, brutal and unsalvageable.

WINDRUNNER is a Hanoi progressive metalcore band formed in 2015 with 5 members, signed to Famined Records in the U.S. WINDRUNNER has gained success in the area with their unique sounds combining metalcore with Vietnamese traditional instruments, i.e., Dan Tranh (Vietnamese Zither/Harp), and Sao Truc (Bamboo Flute).
