OBSERVIST - Debut EP "From The Ashes" Out Now

Melbourne progressive metalcore outfit Observist's debut EP 'From The Ashes' is out today.

Truly a phoenix rising out of the ashes of their previous band, Observist have turned the demise of that project into a fully-fledged heavy prospect. The new EP is available now at all digital stores and streaming platforms at https://ditto.fm/from-the-ashes-observist.

Both singles from the EP, Fragments and Atlas, have been spun by Lochlan Watt on triple j's The Racket, MMM Hard N Heavy Downunder, The Faction and more, and have enjoyed love from Maniacs, Hysteria, IDIOTEQ and more.

The emotional and heavy EP as a whole was Recorded and Mixed by Kye Blomeley (Nicolas Cage Fighter) & Mastered by Forrester Savell (Dead Letter Circus, COG, Karnivool, Make Them Suffer, Caligula's Horse, Twelve Foot Ninja).

The Melbourne metalcore outfit wanted to make a statement with their initial release of music and as such, the band believe the EP "...tells our story, our hardships and our willingness to persevere. We've gone through numerous line up changes and delays to get to where we are in making this band what it is and this record a reality, some doubted us, some told us just to give up but others believed in us. We held onto that belief and pushed through. The emotion conveyed instrumentally, vocally and lyrically we bared it all on this track for everyone to see."
