ESCAPE THE DAY is a trance-metal act from Gothenburg, Sweden which was founded in 2007. Since the early beginning ETD have built an international fanbase spreading over all different ages and cultures.
The first EP ”Confessions” was released in 2014 and was very appreciated by both fans and labels.
Two years later the time had come to release the long awaited debut album which was given the title ”Into Inception”. The album is a broad minded release which combines a lot of elements from everything to metal, rock and trance with a lot of touches and elements from pop music. In the very same period the band also released a highly acclaimed cover of Ellie Gouldings ”Love Me Like You Do” from the motion picture ”Fifty Shades of Grey”.
In 2018 the single ’’Breaking The Tide’’ was released, followed by 2019’s single release ‘’An Ocean Between Us’’. After some time out, the band is back with full force and proudly present their new single ‘’Hollow’’, which is the first taste of ESCAPE THE DAY 2021 and of more songs to be released during the year.
