THE ALPHA COMPLEX - Battles Mental Health With Epic Track “A War Worth Winning”

Sacramento, California's modern rock outfit The Alpha Complex just dropped their newest single, a larger-than-life, electronic-rock-tinged track called “A War Worth Winning.” The song features lush electronic elements fusing seamlessly with the band's signature hard rock style.

Lyrically, the group deals with the struggle of mental health. “The song is about the daily battle we all fight against the opinions and words of others,” explains frontman Michael Woodruff. “Racism, bullying, anxiety, depression, self esteem, addictions - these are all major factors in our day to day lives. These battles all make up the war that is our life, and that war is worth winning.”

Along with the single, The Alpha Complex released a gorgeous new music video, produced by Sam Shapiro Media 3D VFX & edited by Zack Williams. The video is a 3D rendered, animated lyric video that highlights the lyrical content with haunting imagery.

The Alpha Complex consists of vocalist Michael Woodruff, guitarist Kery Glennon, bassist Travis Carrier, and drummer Matthew O'Connell. They released their debut single "Without You" in 2019 followed by the track "Bad For You" on March 26, 2020, which included a full performance video filmed and directed by Dana Willax and Orie McGinness. Both of the singles were mastered by Taylor Larson of From First To Last.
