Inkakai is a new alternative band, introducing Imperial Core – sharply dynamic alternative rock with influences from both nu-metal and 80-90s electronic music. The masked and anonymous sextet is welded together around professional musicians with previous connections to Max Martin and Steve Vai.
Their name Inkakai 陰火会 (shadow, fire, society) originates from Japanese legends, Inka being one of the onibi ghost lights – spirits born from corpses that have become fire. Themes of Darkness and Fire are symbolized by their black and red colour scheme.
